Job summary

CorroHealth Inc. is seeking a Coding Specialist to provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding across 1–4 specialties. The role focuses on ProFee inpatient and OBS, plus E/M and bedside procedures.

Coders must be certified (AAPC or AHIMA) with at least 2 years of experience, capable of working from home with high productivity and accuracy. Applicants should have EMR/Billing system knowledge, strong communication skills, and familiarity with AHIMA/ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Must be certified through AAPC or AHIMA.
• Minimum 2 years of on-the-job coding experience.
• Experience in teaching hospital settings preferred.
• Experience with split shared services a plus.
• Proficiency with EMR and Billing systems.
• Must maintain 95%+ productivity and accuracy.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Code CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM for 1–4 specialties.
• Provide ProFee inpatient, OBS, E/M and bedside procedures coding.
• Apply diagnosis and procedure codes with ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS.
• Assess documentation impact on code assignment and reimbursement.
• Follow AHIMA standards and company ethics; protect patient information.
• Maintain privacy, participate in training, and meet deadlines.
