Job summary

GeBBS Healthcare Solutions is seeking a ProFee Coder for Internal Medicine to accurately assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II codes and modifiers for outpatient services.

The role requires 2–4 years of physician-based coding experience, active AHIMA or AAPC certification, and EPIC proficiency. This is a PT, temporary remote position in the United States, with a 20+ hour weekly schedule between 6a–6p PT.

Qualifications

• Proficient in diagnosing and assigning ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II codes and modifiers.
• Familiar with CPT Assistant, Coding Clinic, AMA/CMS guidelines.
• Apply Official Coding Guidelines and payer policies for outpatient coding.
• Interpret clinical documentation to support accurate professional coding.

Responsibilities

• Assign codes for physician and other qualified professionals in outpatient settings.
• Review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support revenue integrity and minimize denials.
