Job summary

GeBBS Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Profee Coder - Internal Medicine (per diem) to support internal medicine coding on a part-time, remote basis. The role requires proficiency in Profee Internal Medicine coding, CPT/ICD-10 accuracy, and meeting productivity standards, with hours Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–6:00 PM PST.

Qualified candidates have CPC/CCS/RHIT certifications, at least 3 years of Profee Internal Medicine coding experience, and EPIC (Single Pathway) proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Profee Coding with Internal Medicine experience
• Must pass a Profee coding assessment with at least 80%
• US-based; available for per diem, part-time, remote work

Responsibilities

• Code Profee Internal Medicine encounters including CPT, ICD-10 and modifiers
• Ensure accurate coding and adherence to productivity/quality standards
• Work within the client’s EMR system using automated case assignment
• Provide timely, accurate coding to support RCM operations

GeBBS Healthcare Solutions, a nationally recognized leader in Health Information Management (HIM) and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), is seeking an Profee Coder - Internal Med (per diem). We are seeking coding professionals with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment for a W-2 position on a part time, remote basis.

Schedule & Availability:

• Availability up to 15–20 hours per week required
• Pay for this role is around $25.50/hr at production for edits and $26.16/hr at production for Coding.
• Hours scheduled based on business needs (not guaranteed weekly)
• Coverage needs include planned PTO and fluctuating volumes
• Opportunity to pick up additional “call-in” hours on a first-come, first-served basis
• Must be available Monday–Friday between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Profee Internal Medicine coding for Pro Fee Hospital visits
• Ensure accurate assignment of CPT, modifiers, and ICD-10 codes
• Meet productivity and quality standards
• Work directly within the client’s EMR system using automated case assignment

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Certifications Required (one of the following): CPC, CCS, or RHIT
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of Profee Coding to include proficiencyin Internal Medicine coding
• Experience with EPIC (Single Pathway) strongly preferred
• Must pass a Profee coding assessment with a score of 80% or higher
• Ability to maintain required CPH (charts per hour) and accuracy standards
• US based

Productivity & Quality Expectations:

• Coding: 12 encounters per hour
• Edits: 15 encounters per hour
• This is a backup support role for planned and unplanned coverage needs
• Advance notice will be provided whenever possible for scheduled PTO coverage
• Weekly volume needs are typically determined in advance, with additional daily opportunities available
