Job summary

Stonetrust Workers' Compensation is seeking a remote Senior Production Underwriter who will review, appraise, and process new business submissions and determine eligibility per guidelines. The role focuses on building agency relationships to obtain new submissions and manage assigned agencies, while communicating underwriting actions and providing world-class service to agents and insureds.

The position reports to the AVP of Production Underwriting and may involve mentorship and agency training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3-7 years of underwriting experience in workers' compensation.
• Agency management experience is a plus.
• Experience with rating methodologies and risk characterization.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains relationships with agencies by visits and events.
• Collaborates with Territory Managers on agency management, profitability, planning and incentives.
• Identifies and leads cross-departmental or customer service initiatives.
• Serves as main contact for agencies to explain and market Stonetrust products and respond to inquiries.
