MAS is seeking a Production Resident for a 20-week remote program. You will work as a junior coordinator handling logistics, vendor relations, and production support for live events and activations. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour, with a national market-based range. Applicants should be prepared to work on-site when needed and to contribute to MAS culture and growth.

Qualifications

• An appetite for live events, production, and logistics of how things are built and executed.
• Drive to learn industry knowledge, ask questions, and be proactive in tasks.
• Baseline skills in researching, sourcing, and procuring vendors or materials.
• Genuinely interested in researching major brands, trends, and industry news.
• High attention to detail and preference for organized, color‑coded spreadsheets.
• Comfort with new digital tools and platforms.
• Professionalism to join client‑facing calls or vendor interactions.
• Clear written and verbal communication across emails, calls, and messages.
• Solid time‑management and basic project management abilities.
• Collaborative attitude amid shifting timelines and priorities.
• Familiarity with G Suite to manage trackers and build decks.
• Access to a personal laptop for the duration of the program.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a capstone project with colleagues to produce a portfolio piece.
• Assist producers with venue searches, decor sourcing, furniture, props, signage research, and building event decks.
• Support sourcing, procurement, and tracking of event materials to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain content asset and file folder organization for fast access by the team.
• Source stock footage and manage digital files for content‑heavy production elements.
• Help track vendor communications, quotes, and logistical details.
• Contribute to internal think tanks and present research or logistics findings.
• Provide hands‑on, on‑site Production Assistant support for live events and activations as needed.
• Tackle special internal projects to streamline department operations and grow knowledge.
• Share notable brand activations, platforms, and trends to inspire the team.
• Be an engaged MAS team member contributing to culture and growth.
