Job summary

Cover Whale is seeking a high-energy Production Business Relationship Manager to bridge post-indication activities and ensure every indicated opportunity becomes bound premium. You will own the mid-funnel lifecycle, coordinate with agents and underwriting, and provide weekly pipeline insights while maintaining CRM accuracy.

Lead with urgency, enforce timelines, and protect underwriting capacity by filtering to bind-ready deals.

Qualifications

• Experience in the insurance/MGA sector preferred, commercial auto/trucking/logistics is a plus.
• Familiarity with underwriting processes and requirements.
• At least 2 years in business development or sales operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive conversion velocity by managing the mid-funnel pipeline and target Indication-to-Bind rates.
• Maintain momentum by reducing Days to Bind and enforcing urgency with partners.
• Provide real-time deal status and clear next steps to prevent decay.
• Act as primary contact for agents post-indication and communicate timelines.
• Educate partners on bind-ready submissions to improve quality and reduce friction.
• Protect Underwriting capacity by disqualifying non-viable opportunities early.
• Maintain CRM accuracy across Indicated, Quoted, Pending Bind stages.
• Provide weekly pipeline insights to leadership and manage renewal retention.
