Wholesure Inc., a division of Acrisure, is looking for an experienced Production Underwriter. The role blends sales, underwriting, and relationship management to grow a profitable book of commercial insurance risks with retail agents and carrier partners.

You will develop opportunities, conduct agency visits, analyze submissions, and prepare quotes, while staying current on market conditions and carrier appetites to ensure competitive placement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of wholesale insurance underwriting or related experience.
• Proven success in business development and production underwriting.
• Licensing: Property & Casualty license or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Professional designations such as AU, CIC, CPCU, CRIS, or progress toward designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with agents to generate new business.
• Conduct agency visits, meetings, networking events, and prospecting to increase market presence.
• Underwrite and quote submissions; negotiate terms with carriers.
• Build a profitable, diversified, and high-quality book of business.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure service standards.
