Job summary

Clarivate Analytics US LLC is seeking a Product Sales Manager for Higher Education to drive growth with universities across the US. You will partner with Academic Field Sales to expand our Research & Analytics portfolio, including Web of Science and related platforms, while building pipelines and cross-selling within existing accounts.

The role emphasizes consultative selling, knowledge of the US academic market, and a collaborative, growth-oriented team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in research platform solutions, APIs or other integration, custom data sets, reports, or a combination of these alongside consultancy services to Academic clients
• Prior selling experience and in-depth domain knowledge of the US Academic Market

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for assigned products and territories, ensuring alignment with Clarivate's overall business objectives
• Identify and support new business opportunities both independently and with Account Managers
• Leverage product expertise to design and present value-added solutions, addressing customer needs
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline with Account Managers to enhance deal size and speed
• Establish and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure loyalty and satisfaction
• Collaborate with Account Managers and commercial teams to contribute to sales planning and campaigns
• Build and present reports on activities, pipeline status, forecasts, and timelines
• Consult with cross-functional teams to implement effective sales campaigns
• Continuously acquire market, industry, and product knowledge to support sales success
