GreenSlate is seeking a Product Owner for the Accounting team to translate problems into a sprint-ready backlog, partnering with the PM and engineering. You will define user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements for AP entry, payment runs, and bank integrations, collaborating with SMEs daily.

You will be the primary contact for developers and QA during sprints and help ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria. This role is remote within Costa Rica.

Formación

• 2–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in product, entertainment finance, or production accounting.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria and managing a backlog in a tool such as Jira.
• Strong understanding of accounting workflows and terminology, or the ability to learn quickly.

Responsabilidades

• Own and groom the product backlog for the Accounting domain, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Translate problems identified by PM into sequenced, sprint-ready backlog items with engineering.
• Clarify requirements with SMEs and engineering to surface edge cases before a sprint.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint review with stakeholders.
• Be primary point of contact for developers and QA on requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Write and maintain detailed specifications for AP entry, payment runs, and bank integrations.
