Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy, delivery, and ongoing oversight of a custom-developed product within the OCC portfolio. This role ensures product goals, stakeholder needs, and technical execution stay aligned to support mission-critical outcomes for the program.

The position is fully remote within the United States, with responsibilities spanning project planning, cross-functional team leadership, vendor management, and data-driven decision making to drive successful

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2–5 years of experience in PM.
• Proven experience overseeing custom software development projects.
• Ability to define product vision, roadmap, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and cross-functional teams.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear technical requirements.
• Solid understanding of enterprise or mission-critical product lifecycles.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing vendors/contractors and evaluating delivery.
• Data-driven decision making.
• Clearance for Suitability/Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Create integrated project plans for contracts and new products.
• Lead a multidisciplinary project team.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Resolve issues to meet productivity, quality, and client goals.
• Develop mechanisms to monitor progress and enable problem solving.
• Report to a Program Manager.
• Drive vendor task integration and review deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and project deliverables.
• Conduct project meetings and track performance.
