Job summary

John Hancock Retirement, a Manulife company, is seeking a Product Manager to own feature discovery, roadmap, and outcome delivery for digital retirement experiences. You will lead cross-functional teams, translate strategic goals into actionable features, and drive launch readiness and post-launch improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in product management with strong communication, influence, and digital delivery skills within a SAFe/Agile framework.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in retirement services/recordkeeping.
Strong understanding of software product lifecycle and agile delivery (SAFe preferred).
Ability to translate customer/business needs into clear problem statements and features; evidence-based prioritization.

Responsibilities

Own feature discovery, planning, delivery, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement of assigned product capabilities and features.
Own the feature-level roadmap aligned with capability roadmaps; influence strategic direction of the product domain.
Lead discovery with SMEs, Customer Service, Sales, and partners; translate feedback into problem statements and validation needs.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and analysts to validate solutions, define features and acceptance criteria, and resolve trade-offs.
Define success measures before development and use post-launch data to guide improvements.
