Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock Retirement seeks a Product Management Director to bridge strategy and execution in US Retirement. You will lead a team driving analytics, governance, and outcomes across functions.

You will shape roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and enable data-driven decision-making with SAFe practices, guiding engineering, marketing, sales, and support to successful product launches.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as product delivery or product operations leader.
• Strong leadership and communication; own deliverables and cross-functional collaboration.
• Balance strategic thinking with detailed execution.
• Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across functions and levels.
• Solid understanding of project management and agile processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standardized product management frameworks, workflows, and tools.
• Lead a lean, high-leverage team focused on analytics, portfolio governance, and execution excellence.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and results-driven execution.
• Support rollout of new tools, workflows, or policies, ensuring smooth adoption across teams.
• Support roadmap planning, prioritizing product portfolio activities, backlog management and facilitating data-driven decision-making.
• Coordinate between engineering, marketing, sales, and support for product launches.
• Translate goals into stakeholder narratives and data-driven insights.
• Analyze data to track KPIs and identify levers for operational improvement.
