Job summary

Profitroom is hiring Product Engineers to own technical solutions end-to-end, from discovery to release and continuous improvement. You choose between backend-led or full-stack tracks, with strong emphasis on PHP, Laravel or Symfony, and frontend skills in TypeScript and Vue.js.

Qualifications

• Shipped software used by real customers.
• Ability to own end-to-end backend features.
• Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel or Symfony).
• Understanding of data modelling, APIs and integrations.
• Comfort with frontend/backend collaboration and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end delivery: lead backend services or shipping complete user-facing features across frontend and backend.
• Technical discovery: validate feasibility and shape approach before scope is locked.
• Technical decisions: balance customer value, speed, maintainability, risk.
• Production quality: testing, releasing, monitoring during rollout and hypercare.
• AI-augmented development: Claude Code and internal tooling integrated into workflow.
• Close collaboration with Product Managers, QA and engineers to provide context and trade-offs.
• Continuous improvement: improve products, systems and engineering practices.
