Job summary

Swing Education is seeking a Product Engineer to solve critical problems across our marketplace. You’ll own features end-to-end, working directly with Product, Operations, Customer Success, Sales, and Finance to ship software that helps schools and substitute teachers.

This role emphasizes AI-native workflows and scalable automation. You’ll build across the stack using React, REST APIs, and SQL, and you’ll experiment with AI tools to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or equivalent hands-on product building with a shipping record.
• Experience across the stack from UI to back-end services and admin tooling.
• Experience using AI/automation tools to improve workflow and leverage.
• Ability to define requirements, set scope, and ship with little PM handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack features for school administrators and substitute teachers.
• Develop and maintain the operational systems running Swing's marketplace.
• Create automations and AI agents to replace manual work.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Customer Success, Sales and Finance.
