Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years' experience in product development role in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to translate abstract concepts into concrete design ideas.
• Experience as a licensed journeyman electrician or project manager is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sketches or drawings for product features.
• Conduct research on specific processes and materials.
• Collaborate with peer developers on design best practices.

Skills

Independent research abilities

Modeling skills (Revit preferred)

Interpretation of electrical and mechanical design drawings

Familiarity with Office 365 and MS Project

Knowledge of OSHA provisions

Understanding of NFPA 70E safety standards

Knowledge of Electrical NEC standards

Education

Vocational or Technical Certificate in engineering drafting or design
