Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing & Construction Project Manager for Modular data center projects.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, lead a high-performing team, and manage planning, execution, and financial performance with safety and quality at the forefront. You will travel to the plant as needed, coordinate with product development and production teams, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget while maintaining CEI's values of people, safety,

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in electrical construction or related activities leading multi-million-dollar projects.
• Five (5) years of experience managing people and electrical construction projects within the data center or related markets.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong leadership with a track record of developing employees and leading teams.
• Experience with union workforces and labor rate calculations.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project; Accubid Classic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead projects and project teams from qualification through closeout within budgets and timeframes.
• Establish project execution plans and provide scheduling and coordination for each project.
• Identify project risks and implement recovery action plans.
• Manage project financials: invoices, budgets, job cost, productivity, reporting.
• Negotiate change orders with customers and subcontractors.
• Act as main point of contact with customers and end-user owners and develop relationships.
