Job summary

Minerva Project is looking for a product designer who can make complex software clear and usable, carrying a design from understanding the problem through implementation and review.

You'll work closely with another designer, engineers, and product and technology leadership to ensure thoughtful, hands-on design and a clear reasoning process. We welcome junior to senior candidates with defined project guidance or broader ownership.

Qualifications

• Examples of software design work showing contribution and reasoning.
• Portfolio demonstrating interaction design and visual clarity.
• Experience with a design system and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Understand workflows and user goals using research and data.
• Design coherent experiences and create prototypes in Figma.
• Ensure clear interfaces with proper labels and guidance.
• Work with design system and engineers to keep product consistent.
• Explain tradeoffs and align on feasible approaches.
• Prepare designs for handoff with implementation notes.
• Follow design through build and review iterations.
• Learn from real use and feed insights into next decisions.
