Job summary

Evil Martians is seeking a remote Product Designer to join a global, developer-tools focused consultancy. You will design complex UIs and contribute to building flexible design systems for a range of professional software products.

You should demonstrate strong UX pattern knowledge, high English proficiency, and an ownership mindset to work asynchronously with clients and engineers across multiple time zones. AI prototyping experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Design complex, professional UIs, especially for developer tools and professional software.
• Broad understanding of UX patterns and when to apply them.
• Experience building flexible design systems from scratch and with existing ones like shadcn/ui.
• Strong English communication and collaboration with clients and developers.
• Ownership mindset: able to work independently and manage priorities asynchronously.
• Experience using AI tools to prototype, build, and ship ideas quickly.
• Ability to work within European or US business hours with 3-hour overlap with Pacific.
