Job summary

Assurant offers a 12-week Internship Program for students in the United States. As a Product Analyst Intern, you will explore data-driven product insights and support decisions across voluntary homeowners and condominium insurance products.

You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze performance, generate reports, and contribute to product documentation, learning, and mentorship throughout the internship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant field with anticipated graduation between 2027 and 2029.
• Interest in product analysis, data analysis, market research, or insurance.
• Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and collaborate with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analyzing product performance, profitability, customer needs, and market trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Turn data into clear reports, visualizations, and insights for teammates and business partners.
• Conduct competitive and market research to support product decisions.
• Support development of business requirements, user stories, workflows, and product documentation.
• Gain exposure to product changes throughout the development lifecycle, including planning, QA, regulation, implementation, and post-launch analysis.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Actuarial, Underwriting, Sales, and Technology teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve products, reporting, and team processes.
• Participate in team meetings, ask questions, share ideas, and contribute to projects.
