Job summary

Assurant offers a 12-week Manufacturing Home Product Analyst Intern program designed to give hands-on experience in data-driven product analysis within a Fortune 500 company. Interns will learn how products are developed, evaluated, and enhanced, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and gaining exposure to the insurance industry.

Responsibilities include analyzing product performance, conducting market research, and turning findings into actionable insights and documentation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Risk/Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Economics, or related field.
• Interest in product analysis, business analysis, data analysis, market research, insurance, or product development.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data cleaning).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analyzing product performance, profitability, customer needs, and market trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Turn data into reports, visualizations, and insights for team members and business partners.
• Conduct competitive and market research to support product decisions and documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Actuarial, Underwriting, Sales, and Technology.
