Job summary

Assurant, Inc. is offering a Summer 2027 Product Analyst Intern position focused on housing. This remote internship runs for 12 weeks and combines data analysis with product strategy and cross-functional work, including exposure to planning, QA, regulatory filing, implementation and post-launch analysis.

You will support teams across Product Management, Actuarial, Underwriting, Sales and Technology, develop insights, and gain hands-on experience in insurance product development and lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field with graduation between 2027 and 2029.
• Interest in product analysis, data analysis, market research, insurance, or product development.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analyzing product performance, profitability, customer needs, and market trends.
• Help turn data into clear reports, visualizations, and insights.
• Conduct competitive and market research to support product decisions.
• Support development of business requirements, user stories, workflows, and product documentation.
• Gain exposure to product changes through the development lifecycle and post-launch analysis.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Actuarial, Underwriting, Sales, and Technology.
