Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in agriculture, communications, public affairs required.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in agricultural communications, stakeholder engagement, or related field.
• Familiarity with USDA NASS surveys or producer outreach programs preferred.
• Experience building relationships with agricultural organizations and government agencies.
• Experience developing outreach or communications strategies with measurable outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and public speaking skills.
• Ability to travel regularly to attend meetings and events.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute NASDA's producer engagement strategy to increase awareness of NASS surveys.
• Lead state-specific engagement plans leveraging agricultural stakeholders to boost responses.
• Track performance metrics to evaluate engagement and survey promotion.
• Maintain relationships with state departments of agriculture, commodity groups, and extensions in the region.
• Identify opportunities to leverage existing networks to improve awareness and participation.
• Represent NASDA at in-person and virtual events.
• Analyze response-rate trends to identify improvements and measure program effectiveness.
• Develop and share communication materials as needed.
