Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a remote Buyer/Procurement professional to support the Supply Chain organization in the United States. You will own key procurement steps, from PO creation for returns to vendors to managing PO deliveries, joining the Buyer Support Group.

You will issue RMAs, create Return to Vendor POs, monitor deliveries, maintain records, and drive process improvements within the SCM/ERP and Pelico environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience, with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain export authorizations required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of procurement process steps, from PO creation for material return to vendors to managing PO deliveries.
• Prepare and issue Return Material Authorization (RMA) numbers.
• Create and manage Return to Vendor purchase orders, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• Proactively monitor and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and address delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate electronic records, generate reports, and monitor metrics.
• Contribute to procurement strategy and supply chain process improvements.
