Job summary

RTX is seeking a Procurement Specialist to take ownership of certain procurement processes in a remote role. You will manage returns, vendor communications, and purchase orders, supporting Acquisition Professionals and Raytheon Programs with end-to-end SCM visibility.

Requirements include a university degree or equivalent, 2+ years of relevant experience, U.S. person eligibility, and proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office. The role emphasizes compliance with FAR/DFARS and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced Degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of certain aspects of the procurement process, from purchase order creation for material return to vendors to managing purchase order deliveries.
• Prepare and issue Requests for Return Material Authorization (RMA) numbers.
• Create and manage Return to Vendor purchase orders, ensuring compliance with contractual and quality terms and conditions.
• Proactively monitor and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery, addressing any potential delays, service issues, or financial impacts.
• Maintain accurate electronic records, generate weekly reports to track progress, and monitor metrics.
