Job summary

CertainTeed, headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, seeks a Process Safety Manager to lead enterprise process safety across the manufacturing network. You will shape systems, standards, and strategies that protect employees while improving operational performance.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, and Plant Leadership to embed process safety into design, projects, and maintenance programs, and you will lead analyses to reduce risk and improve reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; 7+ years in manufacturing, engineering, reliability, EHS, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years leading risk reduction initiatives in industrial operations.
• Experience conducting and facilitating process hazard analyses, risk assessments, or similar technical evaluations.
• Demonstrated success managing complex technical projects and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise leadership for Process Safety Management across the manufacturing network.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, and Plant Leadership to embed process safety into design, projects, practices and maintenance.
• Lead and facilitate PHA, LOPA, FMEA, Machine Risk Assessments, Functional Safety Assessments, and Dust Hazard Analyses.
• Serve as technical leader for Mechanical Integrity and oversee safe operation of critical assets.
• Influence capital project design and execution using inherently safer design principles and MOC.
