Job summary

IPS-Integrated Project Services is seeking a dedicated Process Safety professional to support the Design Division Safety Program. You will collaborate with the Director of Engineering and Design Safety to ensure that designs can be constructed, operated, and maintained safely while protecting personnel and the environment.

The role includes leading PHAs and design risk assessments such as HAZOP/LOPA, developing safety standards, and training IPS staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university/college in Engineering, Architecture, or a relevant science.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926 requirements.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional facility owner teams.
• Excellent time management and ability to work on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality process safety support with the Director of Engineering and Design Safety.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients to determine scope, planning, and scheduling requirements.
• Determine safety reviews required for projects (design risk assessments, PHA, HAC, HAZOP, What-if, HAZID, LOPA).
• Facilitate PHAs/LOPA analyses and develop IPS process safety programs (PHA, PRD, HAC).
• Develop departmental policies, technical standards, and procedures; provide technical reviews.
• Train IPS personnel on process safety management; coordinate with outside consultants as needed.
• Estimate work hours to generate project deliverables and ensure on-time delivery; support business development.
