Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a Process Improvement Principal – Provider Terminations to lead end-to-end provider termination processes with cross-functional collaboration.

The role focuses on optimizing operations, reducing friction for associates, members and providers, and driving insights with data analytics. Remote role within CST/EST time zones with up to 10% travel, reporting to the Director, Network Governance and Market Enablement.

Qualifications

• 3+ Years’ experience in the payer/provider contracting lifecycle.
• Experience leveraging multiple business areas to drive company performance.
• 7+ years of improving or creating business processes.
• 3+ years of project or people leadership.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Located in the Central or Eastern Time Zone.

Responsibilities

• Leads the strategy and approach for Humana’s termination processes with key stakeholders.
• Oversee the process for coordinating impacts across regions.
• Autonomously optimize provider termination related operations.
• Influence partners to simplify and improve business processes.
• Identify and prioritize additional opportunity areas.
• Develop insights on downstream impacts to Stars, member experience and provider contracting.
• Leverage data analytics for leadership communications and reporting.
