Job summary

Stella Contracting, Inc. is seeking a results-oriented Process Improvement Consultant to join on a full-time contract basis.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess operations, map workflows, benchmark performance, and implement lean improvements with training and documentation. The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years in process improvement with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in process improvement, operations consulting, Lean/Six Sigma, or project management.
• Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or related methodology is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with process mapping, workflow analysis tools, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyze processes to identify efficiency gains and cost reduction.
• Gather and evaluate data through interviews, observations, and map processes.
• Recommend practical solutions based on industry best practices and benchmarking.
• Design and implement process improvement initiatives with documentation, standardization, and training.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop action plans, set priorities, and monitor progress.
• Lead change management to drive adoption and lasting results.
• Conduct workshops and training to build process improvement capabilities.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and updates with clear recommendations and metrics.
• Continuously assess results and adjust to maintain optimal outcomes.
• Stay current with emerging methodologies and trends in process optimization.
