Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in the United States is seeking an experienced engineer to lead design and project management for new and current products, collaborating with senior technical experts. You will develop test procedures, perform evaluation tests, and prepare reports to drive quality and productivity.

Candidates should have ABET-accredited BS in Engineering or Physics, 4+ years of relevant experience, and be willing to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated analytical skills and mathematical computations.
• Strong ability to document results in clear written form.
• Proficiency with common software applications used in engineering analysis.
• 3D modeling experience is a plus.
• Bachelor of Science from ABET-accredited program or Physics BS from accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Design and/or project management of new and current products, programs, and tooling in collaboration with senior technical staff.
• Develops test procedures and performs complex engineering evaluation tests and product/process capability studies.
• Prepares evaluation reports, analyzes discrepancies, and recommends improvements to manufacturing or operating processes.
• Defines and acquires tooling and inspection equipment to ensure product quality.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve design, development, production, and acceptance issues.
• Provides mentorship and input on technological advances to improve productivity and quality.
