Job summary

e4health is seeking a Professional Fee Coder for a remote, full-time position in the United States. You will abstract data into client EMR systems, applying ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines while coordinating with Clinical Documentation and Revenue Cycle teams.

Maintain a coding accuracy rate of 95%+ and meet productivity targets. Qualified candidates have AHIMA or AAPC credentials, at least 3 years of US coding experience, and exposure to profee Hospitalist coding (E/M and bedside CPT).

Qualifications

• AHIMA or AAPC credential required
• Experience with profee Hospitalist coding including E/M and bedside CPT is required
• Experience with Cerner, Optum and Starr preferred
• Minimum 3 years coding experience, including US experience

Responsibilities

• Assigns ICD-10-CM, E/M, CPT, HCPCS codes and modifiers per workflow
• Abstracts and enters coded data and charges for statistical reporting
• Queries physicians to clarify clinical information when appropriate
• Communicates coding issues to appropriate personnel for follow-up and reconciliation
