Job summary

Virtual Vocations Inc. is seeking a full-time Certified ProFee Medical Coder to work remotely.

You will code ProFee inpatient charts across hospitalist and multiple specialties, ensuring accurate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding in line with guidelines and company policies. You will calculate E/M levels using company algorithms, maintain productivity at or above 95% accuracy, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with coding standards.

Qualifications

• Certification through AAPC or AHIMA is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job coding experience is required.
• Proficiency in EMR and billing systems, along with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher.
• Access to reliable internet, a phone, and current coding materials such as CPT and ICD-10-CM references.
