Job summary

Valley View Hospital is seeking a Pro Fee Coder to accurately assign codes for physician services for reimbursement, research and compliance. The role requires an active CPC credential and 3–5 years of professional coding experience, with proficiency in ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS, and a strong grasp of medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Certified Pro Fee Coder with CPC credentials; AHIMA/AAPC certification required.
• 3–5 years of professional coding experience in Pro Fee accounts.
• Proficient in ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding; strong medical terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assign codes for physician services for reimbursement, research and compliance.
• Identify and apply diagnoses, CPT codes and modifiers as supported by records.
• Correct billing discrepancies and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Maintain strong communication and attention to detail in all tasks.
