Job summary

Sound Physicians is seeking a Privileging Consultant to manage hospital privileging for providers in our nationwide programs. You will coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure timely, accurate privilege Applications and documentation.

You will also communicate updates to leadership and clients, maintain Salesforce records, and contribute to process improvements within a remote-first, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Prior experience in the health services industry or in a similar administrative/project management role.

Responsibilities

• Manage privileging tasks for healthcare providers going to Sound Physicians programs.
• Coordinate with Privileging Coordinator and 3rd Party Agency to gather required documentation.
• Escalate red flags to Risk Management and leadership as applicable.
• Track reappointment filings and ensure timely reappointments.
• Maintain and update privileging information in Salesforce.
• Communicate updates via weekly regional staffing calls and emails.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
