Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a Private Equity Associate for an Alternative Investments Platform. You’ll work with investors across the U.S., helping them evaluate and allocate into private market opportunities, including pre-IPO companies and curated alternative investment offerings.

This is a highly interactive, investor-facing role that blends inbound demand with proactive outreach, allowing you to build relationships while driving capital into active deals.

Qualifications

• Must hold Series 7 and 63 licenses (or 66).
• Experience selling to retail investors, HNW individuals, or financial advisors.
• Comfortable in a high-activity, phone-heavy sales environment.
• Clear communicator able to simplify investment concepts.
• Interest in private markets, venture, or alternative investments.

Responsibilities

• Engage with accredited and high-net-worth investors exploring private market opportunities.
• Understand investor goals and align them to active deals on the platform.
• Manage a mix of inbound interest and outbound outreach to drive allocations.
• Educate investors on private investments and portfolio positioning.
• Maintain strong pipeline discipline and consistent activity levels.
• Partner internally with deal and product teams to support ongoing offerings.
