Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Privacy & Data Sharing Specialist to advance the Case Management Modernization program for the AO Courts. You will define data privacy policies and oversee data sharing across a cloud-based data platform, ensuring proper classification and protection of sensitive court data.

You will collaborate with legal, governance, and engineering teams to meet regulatory requirements, perform PIAs, and support data governance initiatives across the program.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree with 5+ years of experience in information systems providing enterprise cybersecurity through policy, architecture, and training processes.
• Experience developing plans to safeguard sensitive data against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure.
• Experience working with Agile teams and SAFe, responding to security assessments, and providing oversight of vulnerability audits and assessments.
• Experience developing, negotiating, and administering data sharing agreements, MOUs, or interconnection security agreements (ISAs).
• Familiarity with the Privacy Act, records retention requirements, and federal data classification standards.
• Experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) or similar privacy risk reviews.
• Strong privacy mindset, with ability to translate legal data-sharing requirements into actionable guidance.

Responsibilities

• Define and administer data privacy, classification, retention, and data-sharing policies across the CMM data platform.
• Maintain data sharing inventory and monitor renewals, compliance, and risk.
• Draft, review, and administer data sharing agreements with external agencies and partners.
• Advise stakeholders on privacy-by-design principles for data platform and analytics capabilities.
• Partner with data governance, legal, and engineering teams to ensure compliance with Privacy Act and regulations.
• Support customers in development and implementation of data privacy and data-sharing policies.
• Perform privacy risk analyses during all phases of the system development life cycle.
