Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Deputy Technical Program Manager to lead the CMM Data Modernization and Governance team, delivering data governance, data platform, BI, and AI/ML capabilities in support of AO’s Federal Courts modernization.

You will manage contract execution, stakeholder engagement, and a cross-functional team, applying Agile practices to align schedules, resources, and performance with mission outcomes, while communicating progress to government leads.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT management experience delivering technology solutions with emphasis on data governance, standards, and change management.
• Bachelor’s degree required; PMP certification preferred.
• Expertise overseeing big data cloud solution architecture, cybersecurity, data management, BI and analytics.
• Excellent customer-facing skills with experience briefing senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Act as single point of contact to oversee contract execution and ensure alignment with goals.
• Provide contract coordination, performance accountability, and stakeholder engagement.
• Operate with full authority for contract matters related to daily operations.
• Serve as senior technical authority across development, architecture, integration, and modernization activities.
• Define program technical strategy, architecture vision, standards, and modernization roadmap.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise security and compliance standards.
• Manage communications strategy, reporting, and coordination.
• Oversee performance, resources, and budgets; supervise contractor personnel.
• Develop and update IMS with milestones and dependencies.
• Provide biweekly Agile reports (sprint reports, backlog, burndown, risk registry).
• Maintain RAID log and other PM artifacts.
• Identify and mitigate risks; communicate technical, operational, and business risks.
• Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, financials, and outcomes.
