Job summary

Eudia seeks an experienced Privacy Counsel to support a global technology client. Working as an embedded member of the legal team, you’ll partner with product, engineering, security, marketing, and the wider business to provide practical, commercially focused privacy advice.

This role focuses on data protection, privacy by design, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, with a strong emphasis on AI-related privacy considerations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ PQE in privacy, data protection, or technology law.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other frameworks.
• Experience advising in tech, SaaS, digital platforms, or multinational environment.
• Experience drafting Data Processing Agreements and privacy provisions.
• Understanding privacy by design and international data transfers.

Responsibilities

• Advise on global privacy and data protection laws and frameworks.
• Embed privacy by design with product, engineering and business teams.
• Conduct PIAs and advise on mitigating privacy risks.
• Draft and negotiate DPAs, vendor agreements, and cross-border data transfers.
• Advise on privacy aspects of AI and emerging tech.
