Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Principal TAC Project DBA & Scripting Engineer based in the United States to support the TAC teams by managing database-related requirements across medical imaging applications and enhancing support operations. The role involves developing scripts, monitoring solutions, and improving system health visibility, performance, and availability.

You will collaborate with senior engineers to streamline processes, deliver technical training, and resolve complex database challenges

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Oracle certification at the Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) level or higher.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional industry experience.
• Advanced database administration knowledge across current Synapse applications.
• Advanced understanding of clinical data transfer protocols and interfaces, particularly HL7 and DICOM.
• Extensive working knowledge of Synapse applications, workflows, and their implementation.
• Advanced knowledge of Synapse application front-end technologies.
• Strong understanding of medical informatics architecture, including VMware and storage solutions.
• Ability to interpret technical data, apply product knowledge, and make independent decisions to resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a professional and effective telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage database-related requests for Synapse applications from the TAC project's team.
• Collaborate with other Principal TAC engineers to ensure technical depth and continuity.
• Develop and enhance cross-training methodologies focused on database technologies.
• Identify opportunities to streamline database-related requests and recurring tasks.
• Design, implement, and monitor database health and performance solutions.
• Assess customer and engineer challenges and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of database technologies and medical imaging products.
• Provide database-related technical training and collaborate with senior specialists.
• Participate in customer site visits as needed, including occasional travel.
• Follow quality procedures and comply with FDA, ISO 13485, and other relevant standards.
• Adapt working hours to support business needs.
