Job summary

FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation is seeking a Principal TAC Projects DBA and Scripting Engineer to coordinate Synapse database requests for the TAC team and to enhance monitoring across Synapse environments. You will work with senior engineers to streamline processes, improve training, and ensure regulatory compliance across medical imaging platforms.

Responsibilities include managing DB requests, refining cross-training, and staying current with industry advances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Oracle Certification (OCA or higher).
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Advanced DBA knowledge of Synapse Applications.
• Advanced knowledge of HL7 and DICOM data transfers.
• Advanced knowledge of Synapse workflows and front end.
• Advanced knowledge of medical informatics architecture (VMware/Storage).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions based on data.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handles all Synapse database requests for the TAC Project team.
• Collaborates with Principal TAC engineers for depth and continuity.
• Supports development/improvement of cross-training from the database perspective.
• Identifies efficient ways for TAC to handle DB requests, scripts, extracts, MRN conversions.
• Understands customer/engineer challenges and helps improve TAC processes.
• Occasional customer site visits and travel as needed.
• Maintains expert knowledge on DB technologies and regulatory requirements.
• Learns and stays compliant with all regulatory/quality requirements.
• Overtime or travel may be required outside normal hours.
• Ensures compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and related standards.
