Job summary

FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation is seeking a Principal TAC Projects DBA and Scripting Engineer to coordinate Synapse database requirements for the TAC Project team and streamline processes. The role focuses on improving support readiness and developing training from a database perspective.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree, Oracle Certification, and 10+ years of experience with Synapse applications, HL7/DICOM, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in a relevant field.
• Oracle Certification (OCA or higher) required.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the industry.
• Advanced DBA knowledge of Synapse Applications.
• Advanced knowledge of HL7 and DICOM data transfer.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness for occasional travel and after-hours work.

Responsibilities

• Handle all Synapse-related database requests for the TAC Project team.
• Collaborate with Principal TAC engineers for depth and continuity.
• Develop or improve database cross-training methodologies.
• Identify efficient ways to handle DB requests for scripts and extracts.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485 and other standards.
• Occasional customer site visits and travel as needed.
• Maintain expert knowledge of DB technologies and Synapse applications.
