Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a senior technical architect to design scalable government IT solutions for complex, cross-functional programs. You will engage with executives and stakeholders to shape architectures, mentor architects, and guide proposals from RFI/RFP stages through implementation.

Candidates should have 10+ years in IT solution development, strong leadership, and experience navigating government IT landscapes and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant professional IT experience including solution development.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, extensible IT solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders to architect technical solutions and manage implementations.
• Lead major solution components with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior architects and provide guidance across teams.
• Develop estimation models and price strategies for proposals.
• Ensure compliance with government IT standards and customer requirements.
