Job summary

SAIC is seeking a motivated Software Testing Principal for a fully remote role in the United States. The candidate will develop and execute test plans, write test cases and scripts, and lead testing across complex software projects to ensure high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities include collaboration with Test Managers, Requirement Leads, and Development Leads; performing verification activities; generating daily metrics; and supporting CI/CD, DevOps practices, and risk-based testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience on complex software projects with high-quality deliverables.
• Advanced certifications in testing or quality assurance (ISTQB / CSTE / CSQA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures.
• Lead tests to ensure defect-free operation of software/IT systems.
• Create test scripts, data, and daily metrics; report results.
• Collaborate with Test Managers and Project Leaders on walkthroughs.
• Support CI/CD testing and DevOps workflows.
