Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Software Tester to support a project in VA. This role can be worked 100% remotely anywhere in the U.S. Candidates must be able to get a public trust clearance.

You will design and execute UI automated tests using Playwright, build API tests, document defects and metrics, and contribute to CI/CD testing practices across scrum teams. Strong collaboration, excellent communication, and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS, software engineering, or related field with 9+ years experience; Master’s with 5+ years.
• U.S. Citizens and able to obtain public trust clearance.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Ability to deliver clear test documentation, metrics, and quality reports to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and execute test cases.
• Analyze requirements and design test coverage for APIs and UI.
• Develop and maintain UI automated tests with Playwright.
• Develop API tests to validate services and data flows.
• Report defects with metrics and status updates for stakeholders.
• Support CI/CD with automated tests to ensure regression coverage.
• Advance testing practices and standards across scrum teams.
• Share testing best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
