One Call is seeking a Senior/Principal Software Engineer who will provide architectural depth and hands-on leadership in a complex, legacy-heavy environment modernizing towards modern .NET stacks. You will guide engineers, drive technical decisions, and deliver high-quality software across enterprise applications.
The role emphasizes non-management technical leadership, with responsibilities spanning design discussions, mentoring, and robust DevOps delivery using .NET, SQL Server, WinForms/Web
Qualifications
- 10+ years building enterprise .NET applications (C#, .NET Framework + .NET Core).
- Experience modernizing large legacy .NET codebases (service extraction and modularisation).
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services, logging and observability patterns.
- Experience in healthcare, workers' compensation, claims processing, or regulated industries.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive architecture and design discussions across multiple applications and services.
- Provide hands-on guidance to teams across .NET, SQL, and front-end stacks.
- Develop and optimize API, REST services, and data-access layers.
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD maturity.
- Mentor engineers and promote high engineering standards and best practices.
