One Call is seeking a Senior/Principal Software Engineer to provide architectural depth and hands-on leadership in a legacy-heavy environment actively modernizing. This role sits at the center of technical decision-making, guiding engineers, challenging assumptions, and delivering high-quality software across mission-critical applications.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise .NET experience with modern and legacy stacks.
• Proven ability to guide architecture decisions and tradeoffs.
• Strong SQL Server, data handling, and API design skills.
• Hands-on with REST APIs, web apps, and front-end touchpoints.
• Experience mentoring engineers and improving CI/CD maturity.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture discussions across multiple applications and services.
• Provide hands-on guidance across .NET, SQL, and front-end stacks.
• Evaluate legacy systems and propose modernization patterns.
• Lead technical decision-making with clear rationale and docs.
• Promote code quality, testing, and observability across teams.
