Job summary

One Call is seeking a Senior/Principal Software Engineer to provide architectural depth, delivery excellence, and hands-on leadership in a complex, legacy-heavy environment actively modernizing. You will guide engineers across .NET, SQL Server, WinForms/Web Forms and modern .NET Core, REST APIs, and front-end stacks, balancing legacy and modern approaches.

You will drive technical decisions, champion engineering excellence, and collaborate with Product, QA, Design, and other teams to ensure

Qualifications

• 10+ years building enterprise .NET applications (C#/VB.NET).
• Experience modernizing large legacy .NET codebases.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services, logging and observability patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and design discussions across multiple applications and services.
• Provide hands-on guidance across .NET, SQL, and front-end stacks.
• Translate complex requirements into executable technical plans and milestones.
• Elevate engineering practices: code reviews, CI/CD, testing, and documentation.
• Mentor engineers and promote safe, scalable delivery using AI tools where appropriate.
