Ascend is building an AI-driven product organization for the accounting space, enabling accountants to work with AI-powered workflows. You will own the strategy and roadmap for accountant-facing AI solutions, aligning customer needs with rapid product iterations.

You’ll work closely with the VP of AI Solutions, building new workflows from ground up, shipping quickly, and driving measurable impact in a remote, high-velocity environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience in ML/AI, development, or accounting/Tax tech is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Influence Ascend’s AI strategy across the AI Team.
• Develop and communicate product vision to leadership and the AI team.
• Create a 12-month prioritized roadmap with Engineering.
• Own the product lifecycle from ideation to launch.
• Identify large-scale transformation opportunities within the product area.
• Develop strategies to improve margins and efficiency.
• Align dependencies across product areas for a cohesive roadmap.
• Provide clear inputs to Engineering for smooth development.
• Ensure Engineering priorities match business objectives.
• Develop ML/LLM hypotheses from customer research.
• Collaborate with AI Engineering on ML/LLM experiments.
• Iterate on launch mechanisms and track post-launch metrics.
