Job summary

Pluralsight seeks a Principal Product Designer, Design Systems, to own Pando, our shared design language, and set the architectural direction that helps designers and engineers ship better, more consistent work, faster.

You will mentor across teams, define component and token architecture, and build scalable documentation and governance systems that scale with company growth and new themes. You’ll partner with engineering to keep roadmaps aligned and drive accessibility as infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product design, with substantial design-systems work.
• Experience defining component and token architecture for an entire system at a B2B SaaS company.
• Experience designing, governing, and scaling an enterprise-scale design system, including libraries, tokens, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define component architecture and compositional philosophy across the system.
• Design token architecture (primitive -> semantic -> component) that scales to new themes and brand variants.
• Build documentation and governance infrastructure that scales beyond day-to-day work.
• Partner with engineering to align roadmaps and tooling.
• Scale accessibility as a default across new themes and components.
