Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Principal Product Manager to guide strategy and execution for a developer‑facing release orchestration product, from concept through adoption. You will partner with engineering to shape release processes, API design, and deployment automation with the developer experience at the center of the roadmap.

This remote role collaborates with customers and internal stakeholders to validate problems, align priorities, and represent the product vision both internally and externally.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management.
• 3+ years building developer-facing products, including APIs, SDKs, platforms, or dev tools.
• 2+ years shipping AI/ML-powered products at scale.
• Experience in application release management and deployment automation.
• Proven track record of taking products from concept to meaningful adoption.
• Strong technical depth and fluency in architecture discussions.
• Excellent written communication and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Own the release orchestration roadmap from strategy to launch.
• Partner with engineering on release processes and API design.
• Drive product initiatives by identifying opportunities and aligning stakeholders.
• Own developer experience by focusing on usability and documentation.
• Engage with customers to validate problems and test assumptions.
• Represent the product vision internally and externally.
• Write product specifications and lead by example.
