Job summary

Yelp seeks a Principal Product Manager for Ads Auction and Measurement to own the strategy and execution of Yelp's core ad auction, bidding algorithms, and pricing mechanisms. • Technical fluency for collaborating with engineers and data scientists.

Responsibilities

• Define the product roadmap for Yelp's ads auction, bidding algorithms, pricing mechanisms, and budget pacing systems.
• Partner with Engineering and Data Science to design and refine the auction-based ad selection system.
• Define the metrics framework for auction health, efficiency, and business impact.
• Conduct hands-on analysis of large datasets to uncover optimization opportunities.
• Lead end-to-end product development for auction-related features and improvements.
• Collaborate across functions and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
